I think he's left handed by pics Ive seen of him signing stuff. I'll be able to confirm this is true or not in a couple of months time

as he's coming to Australia for a con which Im going to.

The funny things is that I watched "the 4400" and Burkhoff seemed pretty righthanded to me. I think, he might "acted" being right handed. Would be cool to find it out and even cooler that you can ask him soon by yourself
